“You are the sky, everything else is just weather”
We left Abilene early since we had to make up for our Day 3 weather delays:
It was the best day for flying so far. Cloud cover was low so we flew 1,000 ft above the clouds and took a timewarp Gopro video (Very Cool!):
I was in heaven...literally:

First fuel stop was Ennis Municipal. South of Dallas, Ennis is another town founded by the railroad. Most towns in Texas are linked to the railroad or cattle trails. I grew up in Ft. Worth also referred to as cowtown back in the day:
This trip had storms following us each step of the way. After fueling in Shreveport, we ran into this weather pattern:
Outside of Shreveport. You can see the storms behind us:

One more fuel stop before leaving Louisiana: Taking off at Vicksburg Tallulah Regional:
Clear skies...everyone is smiling:

Fuel stop in Mississippi at Hattiesburg Bobby Chain Municipal. Taking off for Alabama and then on to Florida:
Crossing into Alabama:

Landed at Bob Sikes Regional in Florida:
As it was late when we arrived, we had to take off in the dark heading for Panama City Beach:
Final landing of the day was Northwest Florida Beaches International (Panama City Beaches):
On the final day, we crossed 5 states to make it to Florida in 4 days. That concludes our adventure from California to Florida. Hope you enjoyed it! If you are ever in Florida come see the Icon in Key West...
Whew! You made it! Congratulations and hooray!!
